This beautiful, custom-built log and stone cabin is an ideal location for gatherings, retreats, or a quiet getaway. Peace and quiet abound at the retreat! Located on the grounds of Kings Mountain Preserve, a beautiful, 36-acre conservation burial ground, you have access to 3 miles of well-established hiking trails and Kings Creek which winds throughout the property.
The cottage boasts a gorgeous stone fireplace in the spacious great room with comfortable casual furnishings and a flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area with seating for 6 allows you and your guests to comfortably gather and enjoy a meal. Two private bedrooms provide 2 single beds each and storage for your clothing. A pull-out queen bed in the great room provides additional sleeping arrangements. There is one full bathroom. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. With your rental, in addition to the Retreat Center, you will have access to the outdoor amenities at Kings Mountain Preserve. These include the 1600 sq. ft. Pavilion and outdoor grilling areas.
